BOTAŞ - Silivri Natural Gas Storage Facility Commissioning Activities

All commissioning activities for the capacity expansion project of the Northern Marmara Natural Gas Storage Facility, increasing the facility capacity to 4.6 billion Sm³, under the contract signed between KOLİN İNŞAAT and BOTAŞ, have been successfully completed without any issues and in full compliance with the technical and administrative specifications.

The scope of work included the commissioning of five (5) Gas Turbines (Siemens SGT-400), five (5) Gas Compressors (Siemens STC-SV (12-6-B)), four (4) Silica Gel Units, the Fiscal Metering Station, Fuel Gas System, two (2) Slug Catchers, Hydrocarbon and Water Condensate Separators, Firefighting System, Air Compressor System, two (2) Emergency Diesel Generators, LV and MV Switchgear, UPS, DCS, ESD and F&G Control Systems (Honeywell), Cold Vent and Hot Flare Systems, Water Treatment System, and all other subsystems within the newly constructed facility.

In addition to the above-mentioned systems, the commissioning activities and all necessary inspections and checks for two (2) Offshore Platforms, including all associated subsystems, have also been successfully completed.
